Recap: Indiana Pacers VS Oklahoma City Thunder 2025-06-08
"Thunder Strikes Back: OKC Rolls Over Pacers in Game 2
In a thrilling follow-up to the Pacers' nail-biting 111-110 win in Game 1, the Oklahoma City Thunder came out swinging in Game 2, taking down the Indiana Pacers 123-107. The Thunder's high-octane offense, led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's dominating performance, proved too much for the Pacers to handle.
As predicted, the Thunder's depth and defensive intensity gave the Pacers fits, with OKC covering the -10.5 spread with ease. The over/under of 228.5 points was blown out of the water, with the two teams combining for 230 points.
Pascal Siakam did his best to keep the Pacers in it, but his 21 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists weren't enough to counter the Thunder's balanced attack. Meanwhile, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was nearly unstoppable, finishing with a whopping 34 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 assists.
The Thunder's 79% chance of winning, as predicted by Dimers.com, proved prophetic, and their 118-109 predicted score was eerily close to the actual 123-107 final. The Pacers' 55% chance of covering the spread, unfortunately, didn't come to fruition.
As the series heads back to Indiana, the Pacers will need to regroup and find a way to counter the Thunder's potent offense. Can they bounce back and make it a series, or will the Thunder keep rolling? Stay tuned to find out!"
